Utility Ethernet Cores |
So-Logic's solution to the Utility Ethernet consists from two cores:
- Ethernet Pause Generator Core
- Ethernet Generator Checker Core
Ethernet Pause Generator Core is part of Ethernet MAC core which uses PAUSE frames as MAC control frames to enable or disable frame transmission. It regulates data flow at the low level of OSI model assists in minimizing frame loss and preventing latency due to error recovery at the higher layer protocols.
Generator Checker Core can be used to generate various types of AXI4-Stream traffic.
