So-logic team developed a new SOZIUS development platform!
|
|
A sozius development platform is a small, portable electronic device that can easily be powered from a USB port, USB
charger, Power Over Ethernet or a battery pack. You can easily develop software and/or digital hardware for it, because
it uses an FPGA with an embedded processors. For many applications, 90% of the overall design is fixed and only 10%
makes the difference. Sozius delivers already a well designed board and should help you to focus on the specifics of
your project and can be easily extended to meet your needs. The main system with many interfaces and Linux is already
preconfigured and ready for use. It should be easy to carry around for training and teaching.
With three expansion slots it is easily expandable to make it useful for many different kinds of applications.
”Make it as simple as possible, but not simpler.” (Albert Einstein)
Features:
You can select between many different Kits that come already with additional modules, firmware and bitstream
Buy the sozius.xxx.yyy kit which is basic system without any boards and buy additional modules or develop them by ourself
Download the necessary images (include FSBL, elf for PS and bit file PL from our website www.so-logic.net/sozius)
Develop your own Firmware
Develop your own FPGA in VHDL or Verilog
Develop your own module and plug it in your device
Standard Interfaces:
RJ45 with 1G for remote communication connected to PS
microUSB USB device/host for local communication to PS
microUSB Power Supply < 10W for the whole board, optional PoE, combined with debug UART for PS
microUSB JTAG for programming and debugging (Vivado Analyser and GNU Debugger)
List of available sub-modules for different use cases:
sozius.eth - Ethernet point to point personal encryption - 2 x RJ45 connected to PL, with key management
sozius.io - Enabling general purpose IO connectivity
sozius.jtag - JTAG programmer with multiple JTAG ports - Ethernet Interface for different FPGAs vendors
sozius.pmod - Adapter to use multiple PMODs - double PMODs 2 x 4 =8 => 4 PMODs
sozius.dev - Development Kit - demo board for education in schools and university, no sub modules included
sozius.sdr - Software Defined Radio - GNU Radio, Portable Spectrum Analyser, Vector Network Analyser
sozius.wifi - Ethernet point to point personal encryption - 1 x RJ45 and 1 x WIFI connected to PL
sozius.alab - Analog Scope 2 ch or 4 ch 1 GS/s - with ADC and/or DAC can use one, two or three soMod
sozius.dlab - Serial Protocol and Logic Analyser - Uart, I2C, OneWire, CAN, SPI, QSPI, Pattern Generator, Sync In and Sync Out
sozius.sense - Sensor and Control - Environmental Sensors temperature, humidity, GPS, IMU, Compass, Weather Station, like LabJack
sozius.robo - Remote Model Control - Motor Control, Sensor, Driver, Position Measurement
sozius.disp - Touch Screen Display 3” for User Interface - needs port a+C
sozius.fmc - Adapter for using FMC boards - Xilinx FMC-LPC Low Pin Count connector 72 User IO, we have 2 x 38 => 76 User IOs
sozius.audio - I2S, analog
sozius.video - Panel link and camera link,VGA, anlog
