FPGA Database

The FPGA Database is a directory of all FPGA families that have ever existed on the market and are known to the So-logic company. Here you can find families and sub-families of manufacturers like Xilinx, Altera, Lattice, Microsemi, Atmel, QuickLogic,... with their devices and majority of the data for each device. You can see here a complete PLD architecture: logic cells, embedded memory, clock resources, dsp blocks, IPs, I/O blocks, configuration bits and a list of available packages for each device. The database also contains a search engine, that allows you to perform search through the database according to specified parameters. In order to be able to use this feature, you will be asked to register first. Although the registration is mandatory, it is free of charge.

We are trying to keep the database updated, because our employers use it for the internal purposes. If you find any mistake in the database, please let us know.

A quick tutorial, explaining how to use so-logic FPGA database can be found here.

Tutorials

Tutorials are examples that are written especially for beginners, who are entering the FPGA world. Here you can find examples that explain, step by step, procedures of designing a simple digital systems using VHDL, Verilog, C and SystemC languages and Xilinx design tools. Along with tutorials you can also find VHDL Style Guide containing the set of rules and guidelines for writing VHDL models used in the So-logic company.
